Each month the gallery windows will be given over to a different artist/maker.

The tea room will house cards, small gifts and locally distinctive souvenirs.

I take everyday items such as books, records, toys… and refashion them as you never imagined, changing their significance or purpose; giving ‘junk’ a greater value by decadently upcycling it with a twist of kitsch sparkle into a precious must have.

 

kate talbot — textile & mixed media artist

Kate’s art practice combines painting, mixed media, textiles and embroidery to create ‘ironic iconic’ imagery. This is alternative craft. It is no soft option, but is often thought provoking, witty and enjoyable.
